HARNETT COUNTY RECREATION CODE OF CONDUCT

"Youth sports are for kids - not adults!"

Everyone shall conduct him/herself in a sportsmanlike manner at all times: Cheer FOR your team, NOT AGAINST the opponent. Praise both teams - they're all kids.
Spectators SHALL NOT act as a coach and/or official. Let the coaches coach and the officials officiate.
Verbal abuse SHALL NOT be tolerated: Profanity, vulgarity, obscenities, mockery, sexual harassement, racial slurs, threats, degrading and/or demeaning comments.
Physical force, physical threats, and/or obscene gestures SHALL NOT be tolerated.
Everyone shall abstain from possession, consumption, and the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or drugs while at recreation facilities.
Please express any and all concerns of those not following these guidelines with host management and/or your own department.
Failure to follow these guidelines shall result in removal from the recreation facilities as well as possible suspension from all recreation activities until the suspension has been fulfilled.

Spring Sports

BASEBALL

Athletes registering for youth baseball cannot exceed the age limit before May 1st of the current year. Must be 4 before May 1st of the current year.

Registration Fee: $70 per player

6U Co-Ed (Ages 4-6)
8U Boys/Co-Ed (Ages 7-8)
10U Boys (Ages 9-10)
12U Boys (Ages 11-12)
15U Boys (Ages 13-15)

SOFTBALL

Athletes registering for youth softball cannot exceed the age limit before January 1st of the current year.

Registration Fee: $70 per player

8U Girls (Ages 7-8)
10U Girls (Ages 9-10)
12U Girls (Ages 11-12)
16U GIrls (Ages 13-16)

Fall Sports

FOOTBALL

Athletes registering for youth football cannot exceed the age limit before November 1st of the current year. Must be 6 (Flag) or 8 (Tackle) before November 1st of the current year.

Registration Fee:

Flag Football - $65 per player

Tackle Football - $80 per player

CHEERLEADING

Athletes registering for youth cheer leading cannot exceed the age limit before November 1st of the current year. Must be 7 before November 1st of the current year.

Registration Fee: $80 per participant

AGE GROUP:

13U (Ages 7-13)

FALL SOFTBALL

Athletes registering for fall softball cannot exceed the age limit before November 1st of the current year. Must be 9 before January 1st of the next year.

Registration Fee: $70 per player

10U Girls (Ages 8-10)
12U Girls (Ages 11-12)

FALL BASEBALL

Athletes registering for fall baseball cannot exceed the age limit before November 1st of the current year. Must be 9 before May 1st of the next year.

SOCCER

Athletes registering for youth soccer cannot exceed the age limit before November 1st of the current year. Must be 4 before September 1st of the current year.
